As you can see, Joomla! is quickly becoming the CMS of choice in Africa. Personally I think that the openness and accessibility of the web to all Africans has the potential to solve many of the challenges that we face, so we should see an increasing number of Joomla! and other free content management systems being adopted in the continent.
While the quality and completeness of these sites varies greatly, and I still see many sites that convey a lack of understanding about how the CMS works, there is certainly a noticeable uptake in the uptake of Joomla! across the continent.
Well, Joomla! just works, doesn't it?
